Five distinct tickets are five chances however you arrange the
numbers—the jackpot odds of 1 in 290,472,336 per line
are unaffected. Spreading numbers only changes the shape of the
smaller outcomes: slightly more chance of matching something on some
ticket, slightly less chance of several hitting at once.
The expected return is identical either way. It is a
preference, not a strategy.
